Using our database of 300+ chair types used in the UK and 11+ years of designing and manufacturing chair covers we offer a range of 9 standard sizes designed to fit 97% of of standard chairs found in the UK.

HOW TO SELECT YOUR SIZE

Measure at the longest point, and use a tape measure to follow the curve of the chair at the back. Measure the four dimensions shown in yellow in the table below.

This table shows in centimetres the maximum chair measurement that each of the chair covers (small, medium, large) will fit.

In addition to the sizes above will also hold in stock an XL model in both round and square back shapes designed to fit the largest of banqueting chairs (especially those with a very tall back).

We also manufacture and stock a standard chair cover designed to specifically fit the very widely used 'Cheltenham' style gilt wooden stacking banqueting chair. This is our model C1.

CUSTOM CHAIR COVERS

When a chair cover is going to be used on the same chair all the time which is normally a case if you are a venue such as a hotel buying your own the best option is to go for custom designed chair covers.

These are designed to fit the size and shape of your chairs exactly. Not only will the result look sharper than using a chair cover designed to fit many chairs but special attention can be paid in the design and manufacturer to specific points where most strain in likley to be placed on the chair cover in usage leading to a product that should provide longer wear on your specific chairs.

SQUARE & ROUND BACK CHAIRS

The Small, Medium, and Large chair cover sizes on the left are available in both Square and Round Back versions. Square back chairs (which often have slightly rounded corners) are like the example on the right below although the back shape may vary considerably.

Round back chair covers are for chairs with a distinctly round back like the one seen on the left below.

HINT ON SHAPE SELECTION

A Square Back Chair Cover will fit on either a square or round back chair of the similar size, while a Round Back Chair Civer will only fit on round back chairs.

Smaller hire companies not yet in a position to carry a complete range of sizes will often just carry Square Back Chair Covers initially knowing that these will fit on either of these standard basic shapes.

Obviously there are compromises in appearance when a Square Back Chair Cover is used on a round back chair. In many cases this combination will work quite well but depending on the size and shape of the chair the seat top corners may sag a little. Ultimately using Round Back Chair Covers on round back chairs will produce the nest looking result.
