Regular square and rectangular cloths drop lower in the corners than they do along the straight sides of tables. This is not normally a problem where the cloth drops say 10-15" (24-36cm) in normal use. Indeed - this is often used as a way of hiding ugly legs on fold down tables etc.
When the cloth has to drop to the floor however this becomes a problem. While the common solution is to 'tuck' the cloth under this is untidy. A bigger concern however is that this is also a health and safety hazrd (think hot cofee pots at a buffetstation and the corner being tripped/trodden on).
Where Conference Cloths are used they are often designed to drop to the floor on 1-3 sides resulting in untidy and hazardous 'bunching' of fabric on the floor if standard 90 degree corners are used.
That's why we offer 'radius corners' as a free of charge option on all our conference cloths.
