Textile Town manufactures, sells, and hires Textile Products to Events Managers, Wedding Organisers, Hotels, Restaurants, Hire companies, Exhibitions, and other similar businesses. Our customer list includes many famous and prestigious companies and venues.
We are growing fast. You will play a key role in driving that growth and share in the rewards of it. We are serious about meeting targets and customer needs but we have fun while we're doing it. Our sales office is a few minutes from the heart of Richmond and we regularly take advantage of the riverside restaurants and pubs nearby. We're a small friendly supportive team where everybody has the chance to get involved in all areas of the business.
SALES EXECUTIVE
£22K - £24K Base
£28K - £32K OTE (uncapped)
The Role:
- Based in Richmond Surrey.
- Sales-focussed position with targets to meet.
- Mixture of inbound and outbound calling.
- Developing business within existing account base.
- Developing new opportunities in clearly targeted segments.
- Member of a small, fun, focussed, hard-working team.
- Office based.
You will:
- Enjoy speaking with customers on the phone and have excellent verbal communication skills.
- Have a minimum of 1 years experience in a sales environment.
- Be very comfortable working with PC based database and office applications .
- Be numerate and able to prepare quotations based on customer requirements.
- Get full product training and be willing and able to learn quickly.
- Be a self-starter who is good at setting priorities and seeing tasks through to completion.
- Enjoy being part of a small friendly informal but hard-working team.

ABOUT YOU
You will be helping our customers select the best solution for their requirements. Full training will be provided on the products so no prior knowledge or experience in this area is required.
These Sales Positions will be based in Richmond Surrey. We ara a few minutes walk from Richmond BR, Silverlink, and District Line Tube and Bus Station.
We are looking for ambitious people who can grow fast with the business and there are great opportunities for individuals to progress within the company.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
£25K - £30K Base
£32K - £40K OTE (uncapped)
Three Positions covering the following areas
1 x Central London Area (Richmond Based)
1 x SW Home Counties (Richmond Based)
3 x Regional Positions (Home Based)
The Role:
- Based in Richmond Surrey (40%). Frequent customer visits (60%)
- Develop channel sales and direct sales opportunities with key partners and accounts.
- Results-focussed position with targets to meet.
- Member of a small, fun, focussed, hard-working team.
- Office/Home based with frequent customer visits.
- Translating customer requirements into product and marketing strategy.
The Person:
- Mminimum of 2 years experience in a sales or customer service environment.
- Great personality to do business with. A relationship builder.
- Creative opportunity spotter with a hands-on approach to turning ideas into reality.
- Enthusiastic team player who also enjoys working on own initiative.
- Highly organised using fully computerised systems.
- Very numerate. Able to prepare detailed quotations.
